Hello everybody! This season we have a new competition, called Stars Cup. Now, maybe you are wondering “Who will play this cup?”. Teams which play Champions Series group stage, but do not qualify to the final brackets will play this competition. That means the third and fourth team from each CS group. These teams will play a single bracket like Champions Series, but getting less money for each round reached. In case that you have a warrior/hero membership, the tactics and line ups used will be the “Champions” tactics and line up.
This competition will be played at same time as Champions Series, every Sunday at 20:00 CET, with the grand final on the last wednesday of the season at 12:00 CET.
With this change we want to make worth it to qualify to (the) Champions Series if you are not a really top team, instead of playing League cup.

Also in the coming season, we will give more money in the regular league. This change is just for the first division, and the prizes will be:

2nd 1250
3rd 1000
4th 800
5th 600
6th 400
7th 200
8th 100

It’s summer and many of you leave for holidays in this period. Maybe you are worried about leaving your team alone; somebody could steal your players! Now you can swim and be totally relaxed, because you can use the new “Holidays mode”. If you select this mode in your profile, your players’ contracts won’t decrease everyday, so you won’t have to be there to renew them. Also it would be annoying if somebody had stolen your players while you were lying on the beach, so if you set the holidays mode, other users won’t be able to buy your players.

So if you decide to use the holidays mode, you won’t be able to sell or buy players, but you won’t be able to change your line up either, because if you are on holidays, you won’t do it anyway, and we don’t want that regular users who are not on holidays set this option.

In the right bar you can now find a “Polls” section where you can vote different questions. I would like to know all your opinions so lets vote about different topics there. You are free to discuss about those questions in our forum or our IRC channel on Qnet; #wc3manager .

For this season, I have changed the sign up process a little bit. So now, if you sign up while the season is running and there are banned teams in your country, you won’t wait until the end of the season to start playing like it was before. You will just start playing replacing that team, so the action will start on first day.
And last but not least, the new Pro Player for this season will be  Soccer! The new Korean sensation. who just signed with MYM, is getting great results lately, and now you can get him for your team! You can find him on the auction list right now.

Hello everybody!

We have some changes for this season. First of all, it was always annoying to have to wait 1 hour at 20:00 everyday while the league playday was being simulated. I was working hard on that, and this season that time has been dramatically reduced to 5-10 minutes.
With this new “simulator”, I want also change some tactics to make the game more balanced. Thus the fast expansion tactic has been improved a little bit, due to nobody was using it since it was kind of uneffective in many cases.
And I think it was about time. For this season, we have also added a new real Pro Player for you! Say hello to the German talent XlorD ! The player is in the auction list at the moment, so go quickly to bid or somebody could get him before than you! The auction will be running for 4 days.

We are changing our prizes this season too. We always want to give you the best equipment out there, so this season the prizes are:

Hello everybody. The 10th season started yesterday, and it’s more exciting than ever. We are becoming bigger for every season and here at WC3Manager we want to thank you for playing and supporting us!

In this new season we have some new things. First of all,  Hero members can now create tournaments where everybody can play.  You don’t need a Warrior/Hero account to play those tournaments, you just need the password from the creator of the tournament if he didn’t choose to create a public tour. You can find all the information about these new tournaments in this section. Remember that if you are a Warrior/Hero member and you are enjoying the line up selector, the friendly line up will be used in these tournaments. Every saturday you can face your friends in a new exciting tournament!

We also added a new rule. You already got a private message about it last season, but we changed it a little bit. Now you have a maximum limit for your web income. That limit is calculated with your wages/salaries and the average of your last current ranking seasons. Instead of using the current one, we will use the last 2 seasons to avoid that teams which are having a bad season can’t get any money. For instance, now we are in the 10th season, so we will use the 8th and the 9th season to calculate the maximum limit. Notice that you won’t lose money because you will always get money enough for your salaries. The scout wage maybe will be added in later on, but at the moment it is not added into the calculation.

Feel free to post your opinions, questions or suggestions in the forum about these topics. Also some forum users are playing a real Warcraft 3 tournament. Face your friends also in the real WC3!

On April 1998, an RTS game called StarCraft was on the gaming stores shelves. What was considered the space version of WarCraft II, quickly turned away from living into its shadow and made a name for itself.
